African Violet Hexagon Afghan

bread . afghan 029-1

I found the pattern for this flower hexagon on Pinterest (by Heidi from Heidi Bears) and I fell in Love! The directions for the hexagon were really easy, but I had trouble with the “join as you go” part of the instructions, so I simply made a whole bunch of hexagons and slip stitched them together.

I love the way it turned out! Its approximately crib sized and super soft.

As much as I love crocheting… I really dislike all the little yarn ends that have to get woven in! By far my least favorite part, but this is so pretty I actually didn’t mind for once :)

Don’t forget to come back on Friday for the Pinned it, Made It! Link Party :)

Happy Wednesday!

  3. This turned out so pretty and perfect for a crib blanket. I don't love that weaving in the ends part of crochet projects either, but this would definitely be worth it. Thanks for sharing it at our party - pinning this!
