Happy Love Day to all my followers!
I’ve never really been one to go nuts for valentines, and even as a newlywed its not a big deal. Weird? Not for us.
I have done a couple love themed projects this week. My favorite is definitely this Button Heart Art
I’m a big fan button art, so you’ll probably see a few more button themed projects in the future :) They are pretty, and so easy to make!
A little fabric and a little burlap.
I cut out a piece of burlap the same size as the frame.
Cut a heart out of the white fabric to fit inside the frame.
And stitched on a bunch of pink buttons in various sizes. I prefer the look of stitched on buttons. I simply quadrupled the thread so I only had to go through each hole once.
Put it in a distressed white frame and its perfect!
Enjoy being with the ones you love today!
Pinned it - love it! I have got to make me some of this button art . . .
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! It would look adorable on a pink wall!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for linking up with the Cowgirl up! Linky party. We love looking through each post. I hope you'll link up with us again next week!
