I’ve been crazy busy the past couple weeks. Lots of crafting, sewing, and creating for the Christmas craft shows and markets I have coming up, as well as some photography and editing that I got to do :) I love being busy, and I love helping other people, but sometimes I need to do a project that’s just for me. So I promised myself a Christmas Quilt this year.
I kept that promise :D
I was hoping to get it all done this past weekend, but I was feeling super icky. I sat in my chair in the living room and felt miserable all weekend. So I kicked my butt into gear on Monday and I am Happy to say that my quilt is done :D
Its not very big, only 50 x 62 inches. But it will fit the back of a couch (when we get one) perfectly and its just the right size for snuggling under!
These are the fabrics I used, with the exception of the Santa faces. The Red snowflakes with the darker red background is what I used for the backing and binding.
I am so happy to have this project completed! Its my first official Christmas 2011 project :) and it’s a great start to what is going to be an amazing holiday season!
Wow, that's gorgeous! So glad you shared at One Artsy Mama!
